I’ve said on other posts

I’m reminded of the Soviet Union

Our woke/neo-marxist central planners are in a race between bankruptcy/collapse, and implementing their utopian schemes.

This is what happens when you force a new technology before it is mature.

“”Electric vehicle insurance premiums, which are already 27% higher than those for gas-powered vehicles, will continue to spike””

If I were in the auto insurance business, I would be very careful about what target is about to appear on my back. Very soon the plethora of adjectives the left uses (greedy, capitalist, rich, wealthy, etc) will begin appearing in the Drive-By Media. HOW DARE they harm our march forward, to a bright, new electric future.

Kalifornia shut down a natural gas power plant and placed massive amounts of Tesla batteries inside the very same building used for the natural gas. There is no comment on just how the batteries are charged. Twice in the last 2 years the plant has been shut down due to battery fires. Sometimes they are shut down for months. No word on what the public does for energy.

Idea-—demolition derby EV races.
Or simply a revival of old style stock car races.

A memory of childhood was the early to mid 1950s races outside of Detroit. Motor City Speedway in Warren. We used to hold up seat cushions when cars swerved and kicked cidners and dirt into the air toward us.

“The cost to replace a battery pack can constitute up to half of the price some consumers paid for their electric vehicles...”

Is that half the price before or after government subsidies?

Is it me or are there a couple of people missing from this and other EV articles that have been posted.

I do have a question that maybe someone on here can answer:

Clown goes into buy an EV. Clown gets $7500, stolen from the taxpayer, as a tax credit and pat on the back for being so cool and green. Will Clown get another $7500 if he has to buy another EV due to his first one being totaled after a minor fender-bender?

"A Tesla structural battery pack is going straight to the grinder," one industry analyst told Reuters.

False. There are a number of companies that recycle battery packs from damaged Teslas. Redwood Materials among them. Smaller companies refurbish the packs and install them as replacements for other Tesla owners. Damaged battery packs are taken apart and used in alternate usages such as storage batteries and such. No battery packs are being shredded.

An EV is a heavy contraption. I wonder how well they do at 50 mph with potholes?

To be fair, insurance companies are doing the same for lightly damaged internal combustion cars too as they can’t get parts in a timely fashion.

You can tell the big auto makers are worried because these “hit-piece”articles are showing up more and more.

Here are a few fun facts:

Half of Tesla cars and most Chinese EVs now use Lithium-Iron-Phosphate batteries. No cobalt or nickel at all. They are working on sodium ion batteries so even the lithium will be gone.

The next generation of Tesla cars and trucks will use 800 volt architecture which will cut the amount of copper required.

The next generation of Tesla motors will use no rare earth materials.

Teslas are the safest cars made. They even have fewer car fires than ICE cars. Some idiot in California recently tried to kill himself and his wife and 2 children by driving of a 250 foot cliff. The children in the backseat were uninjured. The man and his wife had minor injuries.

The law of which liberals and envirotards are completely ignorant.
The Law of Unintended Consequences.
A law they cannot legislate out of existence.
