In the latest “Pretendian” scandal among left-wing elites, a prominent Hollywood producer is being called a phony, with activists alleging she has been faking her Cherokee heritage for years, according to a New York Post report.
Heather Rae, who produced the Oscar-nominated movie Frozen River, has long promoted herself as a Native American within elite Hollywood circles. She currently sits on the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Indigenous Alliance, and previously headed the Sundance Institute’s Native American program.
She has publicly claimed “my mother was Indian and my father was a cowboy.” Variety once described her as having “half-Cherokee roots.”
But a group called the Tribal Alliance Against Frauds is calling Rae’s claims “false,” with one study insisting she’s at best 1/2048th Cherokee.

Nowadays, if someone is working as a “Seminole” alligator wrestler then he is most likely NOT Seminole. Yes, they used to be Seminoles but since the Seminoles now earn thousands per month from their casinos, there is NO incentive for them any longer to risk losing an arm or leg by wrestling alligators. I do remember watching that (with real Seminoles) as a kid. Coolest part was watching them put the gators to sleep by rubbing their stomachs.
We are ordered to obey the dictate that gender is fluid. Why shouldn’t ethnicity be then. Why shouldn’t a whitey wake up one morning and claim to be Chinese or a Dinka. Or a Watusi claim to be a white Swede.

BTW, I meant each tribe member earning thousands per month from the Seminole casinos. The casinos themselves earn MILLIONS per month easily. In fact, the Seminole casinos down here are doing MUCH BETTER than the non-Seminole casinos which often look not only mostly empty but often sadly tacky.

1). You were just a child when you misheard your Mother say " that Cowboy rode me hard and put me away wet, like an Indian pony.
2(. Conflating your dark roots coming back from your last blonde treatment with Cherokees' having dark hair doesn't mean you have half-Cherokee roots (except in Hollywood of course).

When my daughter was in fourth grade, I convinced her that they were originally the Noles, but when enough escaped slaves, escaped prisoners, debt avoiders, and assorted ne'er-do-wells immigrated to central Florida and mingled, eventually their progeny were only one-half Nole, so they started calling themselves Seminoles. The next day she dutifully told the whole story to her teacher, and when the teacher disagreed, she stood her ground, "My daddy told me and he's a PROFESSOR!" Lucky for her, the teacher knew me and my antics well.
