A transgender activist is going viral on TikTok after a fiery speech delivered in front of Texas state lawmakers turned into a physical standoff Thursday.
Transgender activist Loren Perkins spoke in favor of drag performances during a fiery speech at the Texas State Capitol in an address that led to a physical altercation last week.
The moment quickly went viral on TikTok, picking up more than 1 million views on the platform.
Perkins compared Texas state lawmakers to the Nazis in opposition to legislation that would prohibit public libraries and other venues from receiving state funding if they host drag shows.

Why on earth would a “drag show” be considered something even neede to present at a library?
Oh for the days when libraries were about books, and not performance art.
This kind of stuff didn’t happen when I was a kid. At worst the LIBRARIAN read to kids in a story hour. Not any outsider!
