TPA enabled TPP. I knew you would say that, you being not very bright. TPP would have required a treaty vote, so to get around that, they used TPA. TPA vote by DeSantis revealed what is in his heart, and it is not MAGA. Why did Trump have to kill TPP his first day in office if there were no TPP?

TPA simply does 2 things: 1) forces a vote on a treaty in a timely manner 2) does not allow for amendments to a treaty

Trump supported TPA and used the authority to negotiate the USMCA.

TPP was not finished in time for a vote. Trump then pulled it when he took office.
