I think This is like an Honor Among Thieves situation. Maybe Someone’s getting jealous of Hunter and his Uncle. Call Saul Goodman...maybe he can figure it out!

“Some kind of high-stakes game is being played here, but I haven’t been able to figure out just what it is.”

Occam’s Razor.

They’re real. Leaked by patriots.

“So treason is his job?”

There was no possible gain to him in doing what he was told by creating a path to diplomacy. We do not live in a world of bullying people to gain anything unless you are a thug or represent those that are.

Our government works a whole lot different than what many in the public consider the right or wrong way to accomplish their agenda and ours. All the governments do the same thing. It’s a give and take procedure.

So if we back China into a corner by letting them misunderstand what is happening, that not only gains nothing but loses ground. And if it was treason, then how did you find out about it? And if he was hiding it, he sure did it a strange way with all the actions taken to record it. If it was a subversive act, then you’d never know about it at his level.

Bulling gets us no where. There are a number of things most Americans don’t know about and don’t really need to all over the world like CIA prisons, nuclear reactors, personnel, and still forming plans to meet the needs.

I started working with Uncle Sugar in the mid to late 60’s. And with breaks in between for healing and education, I ended up close to 40 years in line between active military, NAF and APF, tied in with weapons, terrorists and tactics, and a whole lot of research for all of it through systems and people. And I am not privy to even close to half of it.

This is a world of compromise, not muscle. The muscle is noted by everyone. But it is not a detterent as if it is used, it is the end game. Getting someone to do something in today’s society will not work through force when the opposition has the same force. Have we stopped the killings in Chicago? The dope, weapons, or people crossing the border not in our best interest?

The only way you are going to do that is with the threat of force if it is a last resort, or the building of trust for the other group if you can’t stop them. We can’t blow up the whole country of Columbia without penalties. We can’t do the same thing to China, either. So you build trust. And overturning rumors is one of promotions of trust.

What, I thought they were all forgeries intended to make Ukraine look bad?

I'm hearing a sarcastic tone in your comment. The internet is not as good at conveying tone, maybe I am mistaken.

Yeah, they tried to run the "Hunter Laptop" story again. "They aren't real. The Russians made them up!."

It's not holding up much better than it did the first time, with the Laptop From Hell.

I'm half expecting an open letter by 51 former intelligence officers swearing that the leaked documents are "probably fakes". (Got keep that 'probably' in there for plausible denial later.)

Your sarcasm meter was not in fact off.

You can tell by the reaction of the Pentagon that these were the real deal

Also, the estimates on Russian casualties were very much aligned with what the BBC had calculated using publicly available data about Russian death and burial certificates.
