I'm personally having a hard time believing that this all started when he was 19. How does a 19 year old get access to highly classified information like this, unless that information is handed to him somehow?
This makes me think he's the patsy and the real criminals haven't been shown yet.

Would not surprise me if he is not an e-mail administrator. As an email admin, you necessarily get exposed to user content. Sender, recipient and message content.
Ive done email administration in enterprises. In one case, I learned the company I was working for was being acquired. Not acting on or sharing that information is part of the job.

The psychology of wanting to up one’s coolness by showing he has access to secret stuff isn’t part of the security clearance evaluation process. It should be. It’s only been in the last few years that the Adjudicative Guidelines contained IT-related infractions at all.

When one becomes a traitor for leaking about atrocities being committed by the same government that makes the laws, one might be called a patriot instead of a mindlessly obedient sheep.

Alger Hiss, Daniel Ellsberg and Chelsea Manning are hero’s of the left for leaking. Julian Assange was a hero of the left in his early days, now he isn’t. Edward Snowden is condemned by the left and the right because he exposed too much about the corruption in the deep state. Then there is Jonathan Pollard who spied for Israel and had people on the right and left, as well as Jewish groups and the state of Israel) supporting clemency for him.
A leaker is a patriot or a traitor depending on your point of view, the content of the leak, and who is embarrassed.
Over several decades I have come to the conclusion most information is classified to hide it from the American people. China, Russia, Israel, and other countries run sophisticated espionage programs which almost certainly reveal to them anything they want to know. The Russians obtained the atom bomb through spying. The Chinese missile obtained guidance technology and other advanced technology from the U.S. Our enemies obtain what they want no matter the level of security.
Leakers incur the rage of government because they expose the activities politicians and bureaucrats are trying to hide from the people. Classification is a process used to punish citizens for daring to expose the depravity, stupidity, or corruption of public officials. The media supports Biden’s Ukraine war policy so it screams because the Biden administration is embarrassed. Has the exposure of this information harmed the American people? If not, the information should never have been classified.
Every time government hides information from the people it moves closer to tyranny. Every time it prosecutes a leaker of information that is being purposely obscured from the people it is committing tyranny.
Transparency is needed more than ever as government power over the individual increases. I once thought Edward Snowden and Julian Assange were traitors. Today I wish Trump had pardoned them on his way out of office. Instead he pardoned his son in law’s father who actually was a criminal.
He’s patriotic for exposing Biden lies. Anything that tears down Biden is good. Too bad he didn’t think to split when the story got the newspapers. He also exposed that Mossad was behind the recent Israeli street protests.
