The son of FedEx shooting victim Jaswinder Singh is suing American Tactical, Inc., over the use of one of their ammunition magazines during the April 15, 2021, shooting.

Four people were killed in the incident when the gunman opened fire in the parking lot, then four more people were killed when the gunman entered the facility and shot more.

The Associated Press noted that Singh’s son is suing over American Tactical’s marketing tactics, claiming that the company has an obligation to seek controls over who can buy their products.

Won’t go anywhere-—

IF a liquor store sells whiskey & the buyer has a bad accident on the way home-—

IT ISN’T THE FAULT of the liquor store.

Cause & Effect are getting very muddled in the USA.

Would his father be any less dead if the shooter had used revolvers?

Or a kukri? Or anything? If someone wants to murder someone, they will find a way.

The courts have already ruled on this, but they keep throwing these. Apparently hoping for one little swimmer to reach the egg.

Let them sue the architect of the building, the company that striped the lines in the parking lot, the manufacturer of the clothes the shooter was wearing,...

This will get tossed!

I fear at some point it won't. And that will spell trouble.

Why not take Princeton University for everything— since they sheltered and nurtured Albert Einstein and the subsequent Manhattan Project which created nuclear weapons?

That would have more relevance than trying to say an extended mag made a madman “more” able to kill with an aimed single shot— made by the psycho firing a weapon. Who could just as well have been wielding a machete.

SCOTUS is going to have to step in. They ducked the Remington case in Connecticut like cowards. It clearly violated the protection of lawful commerce act and as such was barred from the federal courts which are courts of limited subject matter jurisdiction.

Because they ignored it and allowed that particular shakedown to go ahead, now we have a bunch of other lawfare attempts at suing other gunmakers and now a magazine manufacturer. If this is allowed to stand it will not stop with the arms industry. Carmakers for example will then be liable for every drunk driver who kills someone. Manufacturing will shut down in this country.

Only by constitutional judges, which sadly are being reduced. So, your statement can't be, in any way shape or form, taken as definitive.

After all, did they not just convict a veteran of murder for shooting a BLM protestor armed with an AR-15 who was acting in a very threatening manner. A common example of self-defense, in historical terms, but not so in today's communist infiltrated justice system.
