I hope airlines will HELP the health of America by giving discounts to people who are trim, and TAX people who are fat. It COSTS more in fuel and space to haul fat folks. Just plain economics, no racial or prejudice feelings. Facts. I say put every passenger on a scale and charge $10cents a pound per lb. We would all be incentized to loose weight.
They need to start charging by weight of bags and passenger.

I just don’t fly anymore and I am overweight but can still fit ok in a plane seat. I just don’t like the flying experience anymore. Between the TSA, crammed sitting and all the restrictions it isn’t worth it. I’ll drive in my nice comfy car, thank you very much!
