I was looking at the stats awhile ago. Up to age 14 death by car accidents was MUCH higher than gun related deaths. I could not dial in on the gang-banger deaths from 14 to 18, but I imagine that would account for many of them.
I also found that in big cities (Chicago, LA, NYC, etc.) about half of all homicides are gang related.
Oh - leading cause of death among “children” 18 and younger is still accidents of all types.
In 2022, 40 children were killed in school shootings. I think that included ones where it was just one child being shot (and those often over a gang argument).
There was some idiot on social media claiming that the majority of children killed by guns were in school mass shootings.
Harder and harder to do that in the USA.
White American data now includes most North African and Middle East immigrants plus Hispanics who self-identify as white.
In spite of that, the number of white American gun murderers compared to the number of white European gun murderers is not hugely different, even though gun ownership in the USA is massively different than Europe.
White European gun murderers - 0.5 per 100,000
White American gun murderers - 2.0 per 100,000

And suicides…. The other part of the equation thats always buried deep within “gun deaths”.
I highly doubt the statistics in this article... It’s as believable as the government covid statistics.
Black children and teens were roughly five times as likely as their White counterparts to die from gunfire from other black children and teens in 2021!
A problem can never get fixed if they look everywhere except where the problem lies.
(In the wake of BLM riots, motor vehicle fatalities are ALSO way up among Blacks. Laws just aren't being enforced, mostly in the places that are in need law enforcement the most.)
That is right. This is another focus no firearms only while ignoring the other methods of murder, assault and violence.
If you focus on bicycle deaths in China compared to the US, it will look like a similar epidemic.

You are absolutely right concerning gangbangers ages 15-18-25. I watch a lot of the police programs on TV, the First 48, others. The shooting and murders on there are heavily young black males wanting to be a man by gunning down somebody on the street. One in a program the other day just walked up to two homeless guys on the street and gunned them down. Big man. They caught him. He was like 17-18 and got life in jail, no parole. Real big man.
