Chicago's mayor-elect said the city should not demonize the teens who organized a 'Teen Takeover' of the Loop over the weekend, even after the event turned violent with cars burnt cars and minors shot.

Neighboring town here. And it’s not far enough away anymore. Moved here ten years ago and already the place has changed. As a kid my uncle would take my cousin and I to one of the museums,Sears tower, planetarium, Lincoln Park zoo, and downtown shopping at Madigan’s etc as a reward for good grades or whatever. As a teen we’d take trains from near burbs to hang out at the beach it was nice living near a big city but of course we can’t keep nice things. Now a lot of malls have curfews for under 21 years old. Some peoples ruin it for everybody.

I personally cannot wait for the 2024 Democrat Convention to happen here in Shitcago. I also can't wait for the rioting, protesting, shooting, burning, looting to be televised during the Convention for all of America to see.
Chicago is a model of Democrat controlled cities. They voted for this crap.
As for me, live 30 miles outside of that shithole. I may actually turn my TV on to watch the 'festivities' as the happen. I'm sure my neighbors (mostly retired law enforcement and fire dept) and I wil all be getting together again to define our security perimeter and have our defenses (read that: weapons) ready to go just in case. Hoo Haaa! Let's party like it's 1968!
