This is actually why the Founders believed democracy was the worst form of government. And John Adams, correctly, said: “Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
We are seeing what happens when those that don’t have any fear of the Lord also don’t have any fear of the law.
