Amy Grant is reformed in name only, but so most Christianity that wants to think of them selves as Reformed, they are also reformed in name only and not even in the ball park theologically.

Here is the problem with the Reformed practice. Most (excluding MacArthur) believe that there is no 1000 year Millennium when Christ rules from a literal throne in Jerusalem. They likewise reject the pre-eminence of Israel during that dispensation. Instead they believe Christ is already on David's throne and that we are living in the Millennium. The responsibility for bringing in world peace, ending hunger, ridding the land of poverty rests with the Church. Like Catholics they use an soft allegorical hermeneutic and generally shy away from eschatology and teaching Revelation. With such an approach is it any wonder that prominent figures of New Calvinism (R.C. Sproul, J.I. Packer, Tony Evans) have ardently opposed conservatives.
Of course, in today's rampant apostasy, fundamentalist-evangelicals are also very weak in Bible exposition -- but they are somewhat still conservative on cultural issues.
