Sen. John Kennedy Explains as Only He Can the Democrat Sham Behind Trying to Replace Feinstein
Red State ^ | 4/19/23 | Sister Toldjah

Something refreshing happened this week in Washington, D.C., and that was the rare showing of unity among all factions of Republicans in the Senate on the issue of “temporarily” replacing Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) on the Judiciary Committee.

As we reported Tuesday, the Senate GOP followed through with their promise to block the proposed Schumer/Feinstein plan to seat another Democratic Senator on the committee for what presumably would be a short time until Feinstein, who has been in California for several weeks dealing with a prolonged shingles battle, is able to return.

Throughout this entire saga, Sen. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Judiciary Chair Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) have portrayed the issue as being one where they can’t get any of Joe Biden’s nominees out of the committee and onto the floor for a full vote.

You have to love the way Senator Kennedy(R-La) explains things to the media. The language he uses is simple and to the point and the media is not sure how to respond.

Kennedy would be a great one-term VP. The only better one would be Clarence Thomas-stick it to the left. Heh heh.

So now they’re calling dementia a lingering case of shingles, huh?

“Explain?”

______

Kennedy did it most eloquently and in a way only he can. Schumer will have no problem getting reasonable judicial nominees out of the committee and at least one recently heard from will probably be voted on this week to approve for a vote of the full Senate.

However, the activist judicial nominees that Biden has put forth will not be approved by the Committee since they have no knowledge of the Constitution. These nominees are honest in their interviews in that they would base their opinions on “social justice” issues without applying the Constitution to cases before them. Without Feinstein present to vote, GOP committee members can prevent the activist nominees from moving forward to a full Senate vote if they vote along party lines.

She’s not coming back. She’s done and schumer knows it. Else he wouldn’t be so desperate to get her replaced. He knows it wouldn’t be just temporary.

Thanks. I wondered what was the GOP advantage to blocking that likely vote, other than annoying the Dems as they have annoyed the GOP in the past. Now I get it.

With Feinstein or a proxy, Durbin could ram anyone through the process without Republican votes. Without her or her leftist replacement, Republican votes matter. They’ve already approved one to be voted on by the Senate which could take place as early as tomorrow, so nothing is blocked, just slowed down.

I DO love Senator Kennedy. He has a great way of presenting the truth in a witty nutshell.

(As much as I’ve disliked Sen. Feinstein and some of her stances, even though she may be ill I’m sure she has more presence of mind than Biden does - and Schumer and Durbin are just political whores.)

“This may be more than shingles and if it is this is going to get interesting.”

___

Given her well-known memory and speech problems, I suspect it is way more than shingles. It’s been about two months since she was last officially in Congress. If it was shingles, she would have returned by now, especially given the high-level of medical care that Congress members receive. Even if she was still in “recovery” mode, she would be able to make brief appearances in order to vote on important matters.

As at least one other above has stated, I doubt she will return to Congress. Her cognitive abilities will only be getting worse, not better.

“My friend, senator Durbin.”

There’s the big problem. Never befriend a hard core communist scumbag. Which describes every single demonrat. They are the enemy. Period.

This is so true; or, to quote Harry Truman. “If you want a friend in DC, buy a dog.”

Ooops. Wrong Kennedy. I was referring to Robert Kennedy (D) and not John Kennedy (R). No relation I’m guessing.

This is a sure tell of FOX after that Dominion lawsuit. They are going to do everything they can to appease and work for the Democrats. You could tell that Hemmer was nervous about the words Kennedy was saying.

Just pathetic. Tucker is about all that is left worth watching on FOX. And even he is bullied by Murdochs.
