China is a huge international manufacturing hub.
Of course this guy is a proponent of a continuation of what’s making money.
He doesn’t have a choice, if he wants it to continue.
For the record, I’v never been a protectionist or a free trader, just a person who questions the logic of shipping industries worth billions of dollars to foreign countries and stretching supply chains into unstable regions.
He said “...most important/biggest markets” (i.e. sales). Intel has no manufacturing in China. They sold the one plant they did have in China for 6 years to a local firm in 2016.
More Intel sales in China means more American jobs...(some in Ireland & Israel too):
