I only wear a KN95 or better to work with silica dust. That’s with a well fitted respirator, not a stupid disposable mask from a package from China. Virus is how much smaller?? Mask mandates were a joke.

So how many people properly disposed of their paper masks after each use?

When you hear something like “if you read very carefully what I said”, know that you’re hearing somebody that is trying desperately to dig themselves out of a hole.

I remember hearing “if everybody wears a mask we’ll crush this thing”. After three months of mask wearing and things only getting worse, it was pretty clear that they did nothing - or was making things worse. I’m pretty sure that people constantly touching infected masks and then contaminating everything they touch didn’t make things any better.

I’m so sick and tired of the lies we’re expected to believe and tolerate.

The recent Cochrane meta-analysis of previous masking studies, which is said to be the most authoritative, determined that even N95 masks made no difference. So anyone still wearing a mask of any kind to prevent transmission of COVID, or even of cold or flu, is just fooling themselves with a placebo.

Thanks. I’ve cited the recent Cochrane meta-analysis a lot, but did not review it for N95 efficacy. That is an interesting finding.

Efficacy notwithstanding, properly and professionally N95 masks are awful and nobody will wear them or endure a frequent professional re-fitting. They are entirely unrealistic for everyday wear, even if they WERE effective. They are good for industrial applications where the user is exposed to toxic dust.
