N95 masks properly worn do provide decent short term protection (about 15 minutes in close contact). The masks most people wore however, were basically useless and constantly reusing the same mask (even a N95) not only decreased it’s efficiency but was unhygienic.
I still see people wearing masks, and most incorrectly.
It is supposed to cover both mouth and nose, not one or the other.
When driving a car alone, do you really think it helps anyone if you are wearing a mask?
