A Duke University professor of economics called for $14 trillion in reparations for the descendants of American slavery this past week, which equates to approximately $350,000 per recipient.
Appearing on the “Dr. Phil” show, William Darity said cash reparations should be designed to reduce the wealth gap between white and black Americans, which currently stands “in excess of $840,000 per household,” according to Fox News.
As for where that prodigious amount of money would come from, Darity said the feds.
“It would be paid by the federal government in the same way in which the federal government has met the expenses that were paid out for the purposes of trying to deal with the great recession and also, most recently, with the economic downturn associated with the great pandemic,” Darity said. *** Phil had said that “from a psychological perspective that if you take $350,000 or $840,000, and you write a check to any group of people […] and say, ‘There you go. Best of luck.’ You come back in six months. They’re going to be broke.”

Democrat next sure-fire tool guaranteed to keep blacks on the plantation and voting the “correct” way. It will never happen, but the only important thing is that blacks vote Democrat...forever.
So people who were never slaves - including people that moved into the country well after slavery was already abolished - will be compensated by people who never owned slaves.
Let just tally up how much welfare the government has doled out over the last 60 years and call it even.

Because being black is a disadvantage in itself, apparently. Blacks are slower, stupider, and weaker than white people which is why they need extra compensation. Or at least that’s what they want us to believe.

Hey dickhead! Over 600,000 Americans lost their lives during the Civil War to free black people from slavery. Reparations have already been paid.
And every penny should come from the democrat party, starting at the top. Every single asset they own until they settle the debt or run out of democrats.
Duke probably already pays that much in NIL to the basketball players. LOL
This is so stupid. Only people that actually had an ancestor that was a slave should qualify. It should be handled at the state level because many of the states did not have legalized slavery. These people do not want to work because they figure that their ancestor worked over 100 years ago. More gimme dats.
