Yes, President Trump was led down the wrong path by his expert advisers on Covid. And yes, he still has not recognized that he was misled and he still repeats the nonsense that rushing these awful vaccines to market “saved 100 million lives worldwide”. He is not perfect and anyone with half a brain can see this.
Unfortunately, DeSantis is the Uniparty candidate. He is endorsed and backed by all the wrong people. President Trump despite his warts is still our best hope to turn this country around.
Robert Kennedy, Jr. visited Trump in the White House to warn him about the vaccine, lockdowns, masking, etc. He has recently said that he also passed on a letter from hundreds of doctors and researchers who were warning about the dangers of the vaccine.
Kennedy said Trump admitted he just went along with his advisors rather than listen to those who had a different point of view and were begging him to listen to them.
Trump is still refusing to admit the whole warp speed thing was a mistake and maybe something that is costing a lot of lives now and down the road.
I think something to also consider beyond Trump’s pig- headedness is that he was infected with COVID, was hospitalized, and, if I remember correctly, for a time had low oxygen levels which necessitated his hospitalization.
I’ve watched his recent rallies. It appears to me he is short of breath; he repeatedly has to take in deep breaths, even after speaking a short sentence. It reminds me of a person I knew who had emphysema. I think Trump should have a complete medical exam and release all of its findings. I think he has long COVID or COVID-damaged lungs.
He’s an elderly person who apparently had a rather serious case of COVID. What does that suggest about his health? In addition, he’s morbidly obese and he rarely, if ever, exercises. Biden’s mental health and Trump’s physical health should be issues in this campaign.
