The Kremlin celebrated bringing fresh hell to Ukraine on Friday with a wave of early morning missile strikes that killed at least 22 civilians, including four young kids.
“The strike has achieved its goal,” Defense Ministry spokesman Lt. Gen. Igor Konashenkov crowed of the first large-scale cruise missile bombardment in nearly two months.
“All the designated facilities have been hit,” the Kremlin official said, claiming without evidence that the struck buildings housed Ukrainian military reserve units awaiting deployment.
Images instead showed deadly devastation in a number of cities across Ukraine, including a nine-story apartment block in Uman with a huge chunk of its upper floors completely blown away.

How about some real journalism?
What, exactly, was hit? Was it military or infrastructure supporting the military?
Were Ukrainian air defense missiles fired and where did they land (this has caused civilian casualties in the past), etc.

This is a PERFECT EXAMPLE of the media taking Ukraine at their word, while demanding evidence of Russian claims - sounds very much like how they dealt with election fraud. Also, given the track records of both sides, a RESPONSIBLE media would want to see evidence from the Ukrainians before taking Ukraine’s word at face value.
“Oceana has always been at war with Eurasia”.
Both sides are gaining wealth and power over their populations out of this. Orwell’s perpetual war is here and now.
