You don’t need a BMI number to tell if someone is fat or obese. And you can’t count on a BMI number to confirm someone is actually healthy.

BMI is not a great measure of health to base someones overall health on. Its just a height to weight ratio. The cutoffs decided for fat and obese were arbitrary, amd overnight millions technically normal before, became fat or obese.

Reminds me of when the ‘experts’ announced they had revised and updated the BMI index. According to the ‘new and improved’ parameters, a person at Michael Jordan’s height and weight (while he was still playing) is obese. The so-called obesity epidemic is just another crisis that cannot be wasted. Yes, there are too many overweight people. The best exercise I ever heard to assist with weight loss are pushaways.
Push yourself away from the table. Just like abstinence, it works every time.
