I’m trying to figure this out. The Russians are just waltzing on to Ukrainian farms and planting land mines? How does that work?
During initial invasion on February 24 of last year, they also planted mines in territory initially taken. While withdrawing during counter-offensive, they planted more as mementos. The Russians are gone from that field, but their mementos remain. Same thing went on on Baltic beaches after the Nazis were driven back.
