Chinese companies have already bought hundreds of thousands of acres of farm and mineral land in West Texas. Maybe ex post facto this puppy…
Correction: Most of them shouldn't even be here.
Y’all miss my point. You don’t own land, you inherit or buy the right to use it as you see fit.
You are indeed correct, but most people don’t understand that ...
I could see allowing foreigners a homestead-level of ownership. But beyond that, should be a nope.
Please don’t fall for enemy propaganda.
Look up the word “invasion”.
Commie outlook.
Opus?
Not a matter of “foreigners” per se, but enemy nations/empires.
Hawaiian outlook.
I despise communists
socialists, and Democrats.
Look at it this way if the government
can tax it and take it away from you,
you don’t own it.
That I agree with; notwithstanding, the “option” of selling out to godless enemies presents a false dilemma, and IINM Texas is less that kind of state than blue states are with respect to property taxation.
“You don’t own land”
After thought.
Not sure what Communist State you live in, but until the #ComDem’s totally distorted the English language, “ownership” is built into the US Constitution.
Definition of “ownership” is “to own”.
Sounds like you are using a different language than English.
If I don’t pay my property taxes, I lose the land I live on,
so who owns the land?
Invasion is a far piece. Invasion is hardly applicable to the issue of Chinese buying property
There is an invasion actually in process across the Mexican border. That is the problem and what you should worry about
America should be doing the invading. American Marines should be invading Guatemala and Honduras....... right now. American drones should be violating Mexican airspace and killing cartel bosses where they live
America should be on the attack rather than doing nothing in defense
Enemy nations buying your country’s property is an invasion, just as much as what’s happening at both borders, frankly—and what happened in Washington DC long ago with respect to the “deep state” that is no longer so deep. One primary tenet of communism is “abolition of private property”, remember.
I’m not against us doing invading for just causes. As Washington said, the best way to secure peace is to be always ready for war.
