Hunter Biden’s lawyers on Friday made a final effort to avoid an in-person hearing for his contempt case, a motion that has now been denied by an Arkansas judge.
Attorneys representing the son of President Joe Biden urged Batesville Judge Holly Meyer to soften her previous decision ordering their client’s appearance.
But instead of allowing for Biden’s remote participation, Meyer ordered him to “physically appear” for all of his court dates from this point forward — beginning with a hearing on Monday.

Apparently this judge is done screwing around with Hunter. It’d be a hoot if he failed to appear and the Judge issued a warrant for his arrest.
If it were my courtroom I’d toss his attorneys into jail for Contempt until their clients cocaine riddled ass showed up.
That would end this.

A fool if he does not give her everything she wants,(but that is not the Biden way) These are state charges not federal. Pardon will only count on Federal charges.

A judge takes the authority of their own court very seriously. I expect a bench warrant issued for his arrest and appearance in person before the court as previously ordered.
I think he missed his chance earlier when he failed to provide complete financial disclosure. Now only his appearance WITH that documentation is going to keep the judge from lowering the boom.
His financial information is more and more likely to be disclosed the longer he has dragged this out.
If our justice system was blind, he would be forced to reveal his income to the penny.
I think the judge has taken the attitude that anyone else before his court would have to give full financial disclosure and Hunter has put himself above the law. Not a good plan.
