Lived in Seattle 8 years in the early 2000’s. Even then things were turning. And I’d do weekend trips to Portland and San Fran and it was still enjoyable, with big city sketchy parts, but enjoyable.
I’d say I miss those cities, but I don’t miss what they are now. I miss the memory of what they once were. And sadly doubt they will ever be again.
