Unfortunately, most Americans have a strong anti Russia muscle memory, which is exploited by our evil leaders. They get sweet talked by the foreign policy “experts” into viewing Russia separately from the rest of Eastern Europe.
In the same way that the psyops experts at our intelligence agencies brilliantly crossed the wires, by getting Conservative Christians to view religious Muslims as their enemies, while convincing religion hating Leftists to view Muslims as a persecuted minority, they just as brilliantly have convinced a huge swath of the country (including many FReepers) that Russia is a threat to the rest of Eastern Europe.
