Intel officials that signed Hunter Biden laptop ‘disinfo’ letter will talk to House panel

Two former top intelligence officials who signed on to an October 2020 letter attacking The Post’s bombshell report on Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop will be interviewed this month by the House subcommittee on the weaponization of the federal government.

A source familiar with the plans told The Post on Thursday that former CIA Director John Brennan will sit for a transcribed interview on May 11 and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper will do the same on May 17.

Brennan and Clapper were among the 51 former intelligence officials who signed the now-discredited letter that claimed Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

Having watched video of Brennan and Clapper both when they have testified before Congress, I can tell you how any interview with them will go. They will lie, re-direct, obfuscate, and then lie again. Their testimony will consist of responses such as they "do not recall", "can't speak to that issue", or "have no such knowledge on the matter". Both are lying weasels who have probably sold out our country numerous times over the past few decades.

You are correct. Also, the “letter” is not a definitive declaration but says it has all the hallmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign.

The best thing to do is to bring Brennan and Clapper up, say that they have been involved in multiple scandals in DC and revoke their security clearance, effective immediately.

The same for the remaining 49 officials. Revoke all their security privileges.

Their Security Clearnces were revoked by Trump, but unbeknownst to him, government staffers never actually revoked them in defiance of direct Presidential orders. I dint think it was made known until he left office.

It is going to be a transcribed interview. It may not be under oath. They interfered with a national election, but there will not be consequences. They allowed Brandon to deflect his son’s (and his own, the Big Guy’s) corruption.
