Look-we all know that Trump can be really funny. The leftists never laugh because they’re not funny at all. They’re so afraid of him. Those on our side that say ‘don’t go there’ are just as scared.

I agree , if Trump is at his best it could be a real plus. It gives him the chance to reach a lot of people that only see (listen) to fake news.
I remember her saying, “nooooooooooooooo” When Trump called her out as fake news, and when he stated his administration was spied on and her first question for Trump was, “Are you ready for some tough questions?” Meanwhile he pointed out that she never asked Biden ANY tough questions and she couldn’t refute that. It does CNN no good to get down and dirty with him. If the audience gets out of hand it’s up to CNN to control it for the same reason. Trump is smart enough to not take the bait.
He’s not totally knee-jerk. Some of you worry too much. He’s earned the right to do it his way.
If it turns into an Orwellian Hate Trump Festival I think that will help him. It will highlight the unreasonable mindless hate the political establishment has for him. Such a display will be publicly undermining for them but empowering for Trump. The smartest thing the establishment can do is act & appear reasonable. Can they do it?
The smartest thing Trump can do is also appear reasonable & unflappable no matter what they do. Dispel the madman Trump image the suburban Karens, Chips and soccer moms have of him. Can he do it?
If both sides appear reasonable etc it will be a draw & boring. Does anyone think that will happen?
