Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has reportedly made an ominous statement regarding the future of the Ukraine war, saying that the invading Russians will soon experience an “unpleasant surprise” regarding the conflict.
It comes as the current Russian offensive against the city of Bakhmut appears to falter slightly, with forces loyal to the Putin administration now engaged in significant political infighting over preferential treatment and the availability of vital ammo supplies.

Wagner boss fumes that Russian brigade 'fled' from Bakhmut area
Prigozhin said the 72nd brigade "just ran the hell out of there."
Responding to questions from a Russian media outlet, Prigozhin said: "There is a serious risk of encirclement of PMC Wagner in Bakhmut as a result of the failure of the flanks. The flanks are already cracking and falling through."

No this was a sarcastic reference related to the end of WW2 and specifically the movie Downfall where Hitler in his bunker was anticipating a counterattack by Felix Steiner during the Battle of Berlin that never actually happened because the panzer division literally existed only on paper.
After months of attrition, with bakmuht serving as echo of verdun, uke’s want to replay the ardennes campaign. the battle of the bulge shortened the war. germany stripped it’s last reserves, wonder-weapons and supplies to throw at the allies. If the germans had just dug in deeper and forced us to advance it would have been more costly for us. When they sent their men and supplies into the open for attack it allowed us and our airpower to devastate them.
