(NEXSTAR) — Peloton Interactive is recalling about 2.2 million of its exercise bikes because users can fall and get injured, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Thursday.
The bikes, which are 4 feet long by 2 feet wide and have model number PL01, are being recalled by the exercise equipment maker because the assembled seat can break while in use.
There have been 35 reports of the bike’s seat post breaking and detaching, including 13 injury reports, with one involving a fractured wrist.

and peloton treadmills will suck up your kids..
No way would I buy an exercise bike. I wouldn’t want to lose my protective layer of fat.
Peloton Interactive for the stupid , their TV ads look disgusting , sweating up your living-room
Oh know...Harry Reid must be scared. But wait...Harry’s brother beat him to crap.
How will people dry their towels?
I did group indoor cycling for 20 years. But I would never think about buying a Peloton and cycling by myself in the living room.
And just where can we hang shirts without a Peloton?
The bike is only safe for a weight up to 350 pounds.
Apparently some of their customers violated the specs.
:-)

At least if you fall off it’s a short walk back.

There’s a technical word for the condition arising from a broken seat post. I think It’s bicycleseatpostectomy. Less fun than a dead gerbil.
35 injuries forces a recall. The stab caused how many problems?? Recalled? Nope.
one broken wrist appears to be the most serious injury. Painful, I’m sure.
How do you screw up a bicycle?
If the seat breaks while using it and you are a guy do you become a soprano?
