Russia occasionally praises Lenin and its past strength for conquering other nations during special celebrations. The dissolution of the Soviet Union is generally, publicly mourned there. During the most recent years, even before the invasion of Ukraine, the Kremlin has been further restricting freedoms and taking businesses away from owners. In some cases, the owners were imprisoned.

The Russian army also regularly uses Soviet flags, but at least they are not those nasty Nazi flags. Stalin, after all, was so much nicer than Hitler.
