Exactly-up until the election of 0--you could get a decent lunch for $5-6.

We went out to Portillos the other night. (chicago hot dog place).

4 hot dogs (normal size) with some pickles, relish, mustard, peppers, 3 fries (with about 25 crinkle cut fries) and 3 sodas-$46. Not kidding.

I almost fainted. Won't be doing that again.

Yep. Not that long ago I could get a cheeseburger fries and a drink for about $5.50. Now the same meal is $9.50.
