To repeat myself, if DeSantis can win the election and Trump can’t then I’m a DeSantis man.
Nixon called the “closet normals” the “silent majority”. I prefer the latter, more dignified, term.
DeSantis can’t even win the primary, what makes you think he would win in the general? Trump received more minority votes than any other Republican, a feat likely unachievable to DeSantis since minorities hate him even more than they do Trump. Why are you DeSantis people so delusional?
Before you talk about the general election, DeSantis has to win the nomination. As of today he’s losing to Trump by 72.8%
That's why the GOP will never be reformed. Too many people willing to hold their nose and vote for the better of two evils. In the end, you still end up with evil. After having voted for George H.W. Bush, Bob Dole, George W. Bush, McCain, and Romney, just to get someone with an R behind their name into office, I will no longer compromise my values, and vote for someone who pretends to be Conservative, only to have them stab me in the back once they get in office. I'd rather sit at home, and be able to look myself in the mirror the day after the election.
I do not believe we have any such choice available to us.
I support Trump. But I will vote DeSantis if Trump is taken out of the picture by one means or another. But it is all for sentimental reasons. I do not believe the merits of either candidate will matter.
I expect that neither DeSantis nor Trump can win the "election" in 2024. Nothing has been done to limit the decisive vote fraud accomplished by the Democrats in 2020 or 2022. They will do it again. with even less effort to conceal the fraud. And what are we going to do about it? Nothing.
We are going to get whatever replacement team is selected by the real owners of the Democrat party. Things will go kinetic at some time after that. There just won't be enough loot available from a crashed economy to pay off all the Democrat supporters.
It is the Leftists who will start shooting each other when they don't get their "fair share" of the promised swag. Somehow, they will blame all of that on the Republicans. And most people will pretend to believe that for quite a while.
