What’s next for Ukraine? Kyiv readies counteroffensive to push out Putin’s forces
NY Post ^ | 05/19/2023 | Snejana Farberov

Anticipation is mounting for Kyiv to finally launch its long-awaited counteroffensive and deliver a decisive blow that would rid the country of the Russian menace — but the consensus is that the road to liberation will be a long and bloody grind.

Ukrainian military brass have been understandably tight-lipped about their plans, not wanting to tip their hand and spoil what President Volodymyr Zelensky ironically called “the surprise,” but recent events in Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine suggest that the counteroffensive may be imminent.

Ukraine has an “imperative” to go on the offensive in order to demonstrate to its Western partners — as well as to its own people — that it is making progress after the winter stalemate, US Army Brig. Gen. Mark Kimmitt said on CNN.

Military experts have identified five key areas where Kyiv could unleash its counterpunch, which may get underway in the coming weeks as the warm weather dries out the muddy roads.

Russia seems to have changed from trying to fight this war like a fast sprint to a very slow marathon

Russian industrial base still being transformed into a war based one with Increased production and capacity still coming online

And still mobilizing it seems

Russia is reportedly reactivating a formation from World War II, the 25th Combined Arms Army, in the Russian Far East. Siberian residents are receiving messages on Viber (pictured) stating that reserve officers up to the age of 65 are being recruited

May they expel the evil putin/russia from their lands

And may the American people expel the cancer that is Ukraine from the US body-politic. Crowdstrike, Hunter Biden, the vindmans and Trump impeachment, DNC server and Crowdstrike, Victoria Nuland - all we did was replace Russian oligarchs with corrupt American ones.

“Siberian residents are receiving messages on Viber (pictured) stating that reserve officers up to the age of 65 are being recruited”

That’s scraping the bottom of the barrel. That’s not a positive sign.

Once again your confused.

The “summerfall” offensive occurred in September of last year, aka the Khereson offensive.

The “winterspring” offensive has yet started.

Spring has not ended.

And why do you insist on pushing the genocide argument when it has been show to you to as false when you provided the the statistics?

Why the hell even talk about this in public?

Why not? It is all pure fantasy meant only to convince an increasingly skeptical and impatient public to approve of more massive amounts of "aid" to the Democrat's money laundering machine. If you believe that the "Spring offensive" is going to amount to anything, then I have a bridge that I would like to sell you. For goodness sakes, Spring started two months ago.

Here we have the leader of the free world flanked by his "G7" counterparts. They are planning on announcing more "sanctions" against Russia today. This implies that the countries representing 90% of the world's population will pay attention this time. What a bunch of pathetic, silly looking woke fools. None of them is worth as much as a handbrake on a canoe.

G7 leaders participate in a wreath laying ceremony in Hiroshima, western Japan, on May 19, 2023

Note that the US corruption problem is vastly greater than Ukraine. Even for the Bidens. Note recent Congressional investigations. The Biden connections in that are with Chinese entities, and ... Romanians. Doubtless just the tip of the iceberg. I expect vastly more Chinese and Latin American and Euro and Russian oligarch stuff is waiting under the surface. That’s where the real money laundering business is. Those are the people who need friends in the US government.

Ukraine as a source (or, rather, object, target) of US corruption was a meme created by random chance because of all the Biden scams all over the world one piece of solid information came out at the time regarding Hunter Bidens deal with Ukrainian Burisima. Trump focused on that, and the US establishment focused on Trump. The “cancer that is Ukraine” is a creation of US politics, not an objective reality.

“the Democrat’s money laundering machine.”

Ukraine certainly isn’t “the Democrats money laundering machine”.

Considering the vast scope of the US regulatory state and political connections with finance capital, its an absurd idea. US political money comes nearly entirely from within the US and there is an extensive network in place to transfer it into politics. There are masses of foundations, consultancies, contractors and Quangos encrusted around Washington to feed off government money and private payments for public favors.

Foreign political funding in the US, based on numerous investigations, has mainly come from China in recent years. But that’s probably just a drop in the bucket.

Biden himself is a small time grifter. He is just a stick figure propped up by what is in effect an executive committee. His small time (and very crude) grifting is notable only in how amusingly obvious it is.

I just watched a video from Bakhmut. Around 20 Ukrainian troops exited an APC and ran into a building. Within less then a minute a Russian missile scored a direct hit on the building. The entire incident was being filmed by a Russian drone. I don't know why Ukraine is sending more troops to Bakhmut if the Russians can watch them and target them so easily? From the maps I've seen Ukraine only holds a handful of buildings in the city. That makes it easier for Russia to target those soldiers. The soldiers who ran into the building had no chance to escape. It's hard not to feel bad for those guys.

“””Note that the US corruption problem is vastly greater than Ukraine.”””

The US is ranked 24, Ukraine at 116, and Russia at 137.

Why the hell even talk about this in public?

Because its a bluff designed to keep the money flowing to and laundered in Ukraine.
