There are econometric analyses that seem promising.

In any case, Ukraine is way less of a source of US foreign corruption than many other places, based on cited cases.

I’ve seen drone vids of children uke soldiers frozen cowering amongst dead comrades as Wagner and DPR forces approached over trenches taking them all out

It brought tears to my eyes

What a waste

Our cash their blood

So unnecessary

I loathe neocon uniparty chicken hawks most of whom have never even been in a fistfight

Er, the known scale of payoffs in re Biden and co. flips your analogy completely around.

Yes, D’Souza was convicted by a corrupt system. While the FBI quashed four investigations of H Clintons $100’s of millions foundation grift. Much of Clintons donations came from Russia and China btw.

Wow, I didn’t see a video like that. I’ve seen trench fighting with guys close enough that they grabbed each other’s Barrels. This is a brutal war with both sides having a lot of the same weapons. I watched a small drone drop a small bomb on a soldier laying in a trench. He was lucky because he had a split second to grab it and throw it away before it detonated. It dropped a second one and he was able to throw it again. It’s just crazy.

Let's see we have approximately $100 Billion in funds that have been given to them by us and others with little to no accountability. Yes, just a drop in the bucket. /s

You are acting willfully ignorant to an embarrassing degree.

A. Most of what Ukraine has been given by the US is equipment and ammo from US stocks (@70%). Thats not easy to make money from. There are no alternate buyers for that for one thing.

B. Most monetary aid has come, generally, from Europe. Corruption is mainly their problem.

No doubt there has been some corruption in re humanitatian aid and government support. But the US is a junior partner in it.

An astronomical sum of money in addition to arms have been given to Ukraine by the US in addition to arms.

Will they be a Summer Counter Offensive? Yes. I believe the target is to cut the over land supply line to Crimea and re-take Maripol —but it will turn out more like The Battle of the bulge. With a shock and awe, some stunning success then Pushed by all sides and any gains gone with what is left of the Ukraine Army. We shall see—July Perhaps? Maybe June. What do you think?

I think Ukrainians will go after Melitopol and then threaten Crimea. That's the end game. Xi Jinping will step in and get both sides to agree to a cease fire. Putin agrees to a peace treaty in return for Ukraine's pledge to not to join NATO and to recognize Crimea as Russian. So he'll withdraw Russian troops from the occupied territories of Ukraine. He stays in power.

Astronomical?

Current US spending on Ukraine. That is, actual sums/imputed value transferred.

Given the size of the country/size of war, its tiny.

Melitopol, not Mariupol. That fully cuts off all Russian resupply westwards. And the Crimean bridge will be blown up, again, for certain (Stormshadow).

It’s not that far to go on the Zaporozhia front, to Melitopol.

And have a look at the road/rail net east to west. Its full of chokepoints as it is. That’s why the Russians were attacking so hard at Vuhledar, to clear their logistics route. No easy reinforcement of what the Russians hold in the remainder of Kherson/Zaporozhia.

Crimea is also a tough logistics problem, even with the bridge semi-working. It too is full of chokepoints in range, and these are already constantly under attack.

Mariupol is much harder, the Russians have good logistics routes there from Donets.

Given the size of the country/size of war, its tiny.

$113.3 Billion of US taxpayer funds were spent in 2022 alone. This is approaching the amount of money spent in Afghanistan in 20 years... In Afghanistan there was a tiny semblance of accountability. The situation in Ukraine is outrageous. Anyone who tries to argue otherwise is crazy. Using links to inaccurate numbers from a think tank that was one of the architects of this awful mess makes you look unbelievably stupid.

None of the US agencies involved have been able to give anything approaching an accurate accounting of the massive amount of money that they have distributed. But that is just the beginning... The effects this travesty has had on our economy are far worse and unprecedented. The price of fuel has doubled and even tripled in many parts of the world. The price of fertilizer more than doubled as a direct result of this conflict. This has caused the price of many food staples to more than double as well. More than 45 million people in 37 countries are now at greater risk of starvation than they have been in the last 20 years. 22 million children are currently suffering from "wasting"; severe weight loss that can lead to death if not treated. And make no mistake the highest inflation this country has experienced in 50 years is a direct result of this ill-advised “adventure”.

The lunacy of trying to save a worthless and hopelessly corrupt regime in Ukraine that is acting as a dictatorship is inestimable. What more should we expect from the administration of the most incompetent president in our nation's history? And you have the gall to argue that “Given the size of the country/size of war” that the cost is tiny. Why are you making excuses for the Biden administration?

What ulterior motives do Biden, the Democrats, and deep state Republicans have? A sizable percentage of the money being wasted directly and indirectly is lining not only the pockets of corrupt Ukrainian leadership... it is making it back to this country through undisclosed channels into the pockets of politicians for their further gain and to increase their ability to cheat in future elections.

And who is actually profiting the most from all this insanity? Vladimir Putin!!! He loves you neocon fools. If he could he would give each and every one of you a big sloppy Rusky kiss. Despite and largely because of Western sanctions profits from Russina exports increased over 50% in 2022 compared to 2021. They made record profits! And this has continued into 2023. Why? Because countries representing 90% of the world's population have completely ignored Western “sanctions”.

Yet we have Western authorities lying to the public declaring victory and pretending that the Russians are losing money. This is based on numbers that are manipulated in one example by pretending the Russians are now getting $50 a barrel for oil when they are actually getting $80.

https://www.intellinews.com/urals-oil-price-is-increasingly-meaningless-allowing-russian-owned-refineries-in-europe-to-build-up-slush-funds-271098/

This is just one of the tricks they use to mislead fools such as yourself.

Wake Up!!!

No, that amount was appropriated, not spent.

I have given you the details of what was spent (or given) and how. Most wasn’t cash. It was arms and materiel transfers.

The equipment transferred is itemised in detail. The cash given is given to the Ukrainians and what they have done with it, that part is not audited in detail.

We must be precise.

No, that amount was appropriated, not spent.

The amount was spent! Your link was designed to mislead fools.

“WASHINGTON – With more than $100 billion in U.S. weaponry and financial aid flowing to Ukraine in less than a year – and more on the way to counter Russia's invasion – concerns about arms falling into terrorists’ hands and dollars into corrupt officials’ pockets are mounting.”

“When you spend so much money so quickly, with so little oversight, you're going to have fraud, waste and abuse,” John Sopko, the special inspector general for Afghanistan reconstruction, said in an interview. “Massive amounts.”

“The Pentagon spent $62.3 billion in 2022 on Ukraine for weapons, ammunition, training, logistics, supplies, salaries and stipends, according to the Joint Strategic Oversight Plan for Ukraine Response report. Inspectors general for several agencies released the report in January.”

“The State Department and U.S. Agency for International Development spent $46 billion for activities ranging from border security to basic government services such as utilities, hospitals, schools and firefighting. Other government agencies, including the Department of Agriculture, spent another $5 billion.”

$62.3 Billion + $46 Billion + $5 Billion = $113.3 Billion already spent that we know about! This has taken place with basically no accountability. No one without a top-secret security clearance knows the real amount.
