Umm…my understanding of the story was that he blocked the ebike’s screen to prevent her from checking out the bike again (or determining who had actually rented it) and, after some more drama, she did as suggested and checked out another bike and went on her way. By this time a crowd was gathering, so anything further on the teens part was forestalled.
