Cruz is grandstanding. Republicans need to prioritize everything they do. One off investigations like the one Cruz is suggesting should be evaluated with other potential investigations and prioritized. Personally, investigating weaponized government agencies is the number one priority. The number of those organizations is so large that there is neither the time or resources to perform all the investigations. Congress needs to do more than investigate. They need to read the constitution, understand the powers it grants, and then refer to the 10a. That means a massive defunding and shuttering of federal agencies. The states and people need to pick up the pieces if they so desire.
