“it would mean that any legislation dealing with voting laws wouldn’t need a governor’s signature.”
I don’t know all the facets of this, but from what I’ve heard in interviews with Sonny Borelli and Wendy Rogers, the US Constitution already has this in place in regard to Federal races. The libs in AZ just hijacked the process and installed new policies.
Legally, the new policies can’t supercede the US Constitution but they went ahead and did it, anyway. They truly are evil.
Anyhow, that’s how I understand it.
Your right. But the states legislature did nothing. The legislature is the ones to change the voting laws. But they did it without them and they never stopped them. It should have been brought to states Supreme Court and quickly to our US SC. But nothing. And I think other states did this as well. Was a bought off election. Several players involved.
Then it oughta be a case for SCOTUS.
That sounds about right. It seems to me they (Borelli and Rogers) have a good argument, but as a practical matter they need a positive ruling from the courts. Without that, there’s no chance of Hobbs or anyone else complying.
About 5 states, with corrupt Governors, SecStates, legislative “leadership”, and corrupt judges all did the same thing in 2020 and again last year.
The Republican Pennsylvania legislature allowed some changes to the states voting process. Penn SecState, a Democrat, made her own changes. Legislature sued to stop her. Penn Supreme Court tossed the case, saying that the suit was premature since there was no ‘injury’. Post 2020 election, one that showed Pres Trump winning Penn in an absolute landslide, is contested by Penn legislature. It sues. Penn Supreme Court says they’re too late as the election results had already been certified by the corrupt Democrat Governor.
None of this stuff would have been allowed...if the state Republican’s were true to their jobs...if the legislatures were the only ones allowed to make the rules.
Right now, the SecState in Georgia is trying to completely rig the system, once and for all, in favor of the Democrats. And Republican voters in Georgia, after what he did in 2020, actually voted to keep him. Absolutely amazing people could be so effin’ dumb.
