Included in the 99-page deal to lift the debt ceiling is the approval of the Mountain Valley Pipeline, a pipeline that would carry fuel from West Virginia to Virginia and has become a pet project of Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.).
Manchin, who would face reelection next year in ruby-red West Virginia if he decides to run, touted the inclusion of the pipeline as something he helped to secure.
“I am proud to have fought for this critical project and to have secured the bipartisan support necessary to get it across the finish line,” he said in a written statement.

Politics as usual I hear this bill is “ready for Congress”.
It already is “Congress” because a classic definition of “Congress” just happens to be:
“sexual intercourse”
And this bill is “sexual intercourse” for We The People if you get my drift.
WHY are you still pushing the nonsense that the explanation for why our nation suffers is that the battle between "Dems" and the GOP is real?
Aside from forcing through a pipeline that IIRC is pretty badly needed, maybe it was the price for Manchin defecting to the GOP? Just speculating, of course.

That would explain it, but I see a D by his name, and his wife was appointed to a Commission by Biden, and then the first huge Spending Bill by Biden threw tons of Cash in her face.
The Budget for her No Show Job exploded.
I suspect he’s going to continue to sell his Vote as a Democrat and do a lot of Ads holding Guns and claiming to be against Government Spending, when he’s Voted for every bit of Spending that is possible.

Manchin is a Leftist liberal and votes as such. He takes conservative positions only for reelection purposes and then votes liberal unless it is a vote that would harm him in the next election. He is far worse than Ocasio Cortez. She does not pretend do be anything she is not, which is Marxist.
