I think that the corruption accusations against Hillary were beginning to hit the voters, so Comey tried to open the investigation and close it in a couple of days to “exonerate” Hillary, but he did it very clumsily. The result was supposed to be absolute proof Hillary was clean as the driven snow.

He also called the Republican Party a cult.

These words are coming from the mouth of the last FBI director before the current one. The current FBI director is busy refusing requests for information from elected legislative representatives in Congress. There's no clearer indication of how utterly corrupt and destructive to the nation the FBI has become.

Besides from its implicit association with some religion...I would almost agree. This conservative "cult" is opposed to the liberal "cult" that is todays woke liberal democratic party. That LDP has in the last 2-1/2 years passed laws and socialist style programs that has directly resulted in record drug deaths, record spending, record pharmaceutical profits (born on the backs of US taxpayers), record crime, record inflation/tax, record homelessness, record crime, record illegal immigration, record high gas prices, record spike in interest rates, and hobbled police departments ability to make effective arrests.
