It looked like he tried to break the fall with his hands—great way to get broken wrists. He tried to get back up on his own, but needed help.

Xiden is very lucky he is NOT hurt, at his age.

My grandfather took a fall in his assisted living facility in Indiana when he was about Xiden’s age. I talked to him by phone right after and he said he looked like he’d gone half a round with Mike Tyson.

I didn’t really realize how bad it was until I saw a photo of him later. It really looked like someone had beaten the holy hell out of him. Ugly, dark bruises on his forehead and cheeks. And that was after taking a tumble over an easy chair and landing on plush carpet!

It’s no joke when and oldster falls.
