Now the bloom is off the rose. It is crappy beer mass-marketed to people management has utter contempt for.
The brand is destroyed.
Dump AH Stock now....
“I know someone that runs a liquor store…sent back all Bud Lite in stock and cancelled all future orders.”
What happens if a gay customer walks in?
“Now, this could be like the NFL, where National Anthem protests led to many saying they would boycott forever, only to have most viewers return” AFTER the anti-America shiite from ungrateful ill informed thugs stopped BTW.

Not to worry, they can get it in the can from someone else…
Glad to see other AB brands taking a beating (eg Stella).
I want the company to serve as an example.
An Ozymandias of beer “look upon my wokeness and despair.”
Difference. Generally people won’t get shamed for watching the NFL.
People seen consuming or buying Bud Light know they will be ridiculed for it.

You mean like a gay cake? That doesn’t always end well for the store owner.
“ What happens if a gay customer walks in?”
The clerk will say “Mr Obama, good to see you again.”
re: “National Anthem protests led to many saying they would boycott forever, only to have most viewers return...”
The NFL *did* back a LONG WAY AWAY from that crap after the fan backlash. So yeah, a lot of people took the perspective of “well they are no longer in my face about that and Colin Kaperdick is not the face of the NFL anymore, so yeah, I’ll watch.”
I do watch a few games or parts of games nowadays, but NOT like I used to.
I agree.
I agree.
;-)
Gay people had better taste and weren’t buying Bud Light in the first place. :P
Shouldn’t be watching any at all. Stuff like that is why they’re still around and everyone in the NFL that was responsible for it still work there.
“Gay people had better taste and weren’t buying Bud Light in the first place.”
I agree that was the case in the past, as gay people are into the ‘craft’ beers. But, at this point, at least some of them are now buying Bud Light to ‘send a message’, and if they are prevented from ‘sending a message’, then they will send a lawyer.
Not in significant numbers - especially since AB went radio silent and did some of their baby steps walking it back. Now gay bars are dropping AB products too and gay people aren’t buying it.

So no, gay people *aren’t* buying it either.
And for those that were, they can still go buy Heineken, like they were doing anyway. :P
AB survives, they have something like 30-40 brands. Bud Light loses it’s perch at the top and becomes a small seller.
No, because a lot of Bud Light drinkers have since discovered that replacing their beer-like fluid (because Bud Light is not real beer) with something else is very easy and that there are actual beers out there that are way better.
Chartist nonsense.
AB will survive.
The question of importance is will there be a new highly touted product to replace Bud Lite?
I suspect there will be a Michelob product pushed forward to try to satisfy those who fear real beer
“Now gay bars are dropping AB products too and gay people aren’t buying it.”
I forgot that part. They had shown a straight guy in one of their recent ads, so they lost whatever small gay market they had built up.
Even so, my earlier comment does stand in that a gay guy could walk into that store, look for Bud Lite, ask about it, and then sue them when they don’t have - even though the gay guy never planned to buy it, much less drink it (because of that ad with a straight person).
