Trump Indicted for Crime Every Admin in Last 40 Years was Guilty Of
Frontpage Magazine ^ | June 9 2023 | Daniel Greenfield

This is once again a process crime created by the Dems investigating Trump

Selective criminalization is unequal justice. Selective criminalization aimed at political opponents is political repression.

Every administration since President Ronald Reagan’s has mismanaged classified documents, according to National Archives and Records Administration officials who spoke to a congressional committee behind closed doors in March.

Mark Bradley, who directs the agency’s Information Security Oversight Office, said that since 2010, his office has gotten more than 80 calls from libraries that have found classified information in papers belonging to members of Congress.

For example, Sen. Edmund Muskie, D-Maine — who left Congress in 1980 and was secretary of state in the last year of President Jimmy Carter’s administration — included 98 classified documents when his papers were given to Bates College.

Biden seemed to have dumped classified documents just about everywhere he set foot. Never mind Hillary and her server. Or the other manifold examples.

Since old dogs never learn any new tricks, this is once again a process crime created by the Dems investigating Trump. Indicting presidential associates on process crimes is one thing, but going after Trump on a process crime is unrealistic. But then this isn’t about actually winning the case, but winning an election.

I won’t be shocked to hear that Trump was shot while trying to escape. We just seem to be that kind of country now.

If Biden wants to raise his poll numbers, he should pardon Trump immediately.

Comparitively speaking as far as keeping classified material between several high profile politicians. Why have classified material around after you are no longer in a position to use it.

Walking off of the job and taking some copies of “mementos” which are classified with you? What purpose that serve? It is flawed reasoning by all parties both past and present. Rather stupid behaviour IMHO by all individuals.

Could Trump conceivably call all living former presidents to testify about their treatment of classified documents?

Actually, that’s not a bad idea!

But a judge somewhere would be upset about something and overrule it.

“he should pardon Trump immediately.”

Pray tell...how, exactly, can someone be pardoned when they haven’t even been convicted of anything?

To EVERY Republican in the U.S. House of Representatives and to EVERY Republican in the U.S. Senate,
NOTICE: IF YOU ARE NOT IN FLORIDA TO STAND BEHIND FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON,
YOU ARE NEXT. YOU will be charged with crimes you did not commit.
YOU will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
YOU will be attacked by the full weight of the U.S.
Government and the most CROOKED administration to ever occupy the White House.
If you value America and Freedom, you will be standing in that courtroom behind Donald Trump to show your condemnation of the weaponized DOJ at 3 P.M. Tuesday afternoon.
If you think this isn’t the most significant attack on the Conservative, Freedom-loving America, then stay home.

We will do the same when you run for re-election.

They threw the book at Trump in hopes the news would be on Trump, this week. and not on the bidens..

They have known what biden was doing, and saf on it for those years. They let joe be President, knowing he was taking millions from other nations for favors.

We the people, in their view, are dumb enough to tell lie after lie and we will buy it

I am of the opinion there is no crime. Unless it can be shown in regards to the documents that Trump or the others “... has reason to believe could be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of any foreign nation” All they have done is be careless in handling the information. What about the “ willfully retains the same and fails to deliver it to the officer or employee of the United States” part?

Now although under the Presidential Records Act the President at the end of his term is by law to surrender documents that come under that law including classified documents failure to do this is not what USC 793 is referring to. The distinction is this “retains the same” that same refers to the documents/information mentioned previously. Now remember these are documents the “possessor has reason to believe could be used to injure the United States or to the advantage of any foreign nation.” Just as it is not enough to have the documents it is also under this act not enough simply to fail to deliver those documents. He has have reason to believe they are documents that could be used to injure the U.S....”

Failure to turn documents over to the archivist is certainly not a violation of the Espionage Act. To claim so is pure assfoolery. Now I argue the president is exempt from the Espionage Act. But even if he is not, since the president is the Commander in Chief and given broad powers under the same. That includes deciding who shall be given access and possession of national defense documents (classified or not). That control would logically mean the president is not subject to the demand of any officer or employee to surrender those documents as stated in USC 18 793.

The Presidential Records Act is 44 USC 2200. I am unable to find any penalty for not meeting the request of the archivist. Maybe it is in another chapter.

Every administration since President Ronald Reagan’s has mismanaged classified documents

What classified documents? The ones the DOJ has said they were recovered but won’t show them? Issue is, that I never see brought up, the lawyers can be ‘read in’. People are ‘read in’ for access to all sorts of government operations that require a clearance. You’re briefed on the non-disclosure stuff, the penalties of leaking, etc, sign some paperwork saying that your lips are sealed and, voila, you can see the documents.

One of the problems I see is, if DOJ did that, defense could them challenge the “classification” of the documents. IE…..This document is dated, ????, on that date is was given this classification, now you’re saying it’s been changed? Who changed it?
