I agree. And I see DeSantis as much stronger on both those issues, which are paramount right now. Trump signed every Omnibus, every bloated Covid bill, wants no cuts to government handouts, and throws parties for gays at his resort. We lost ground on government sprawl and sex perversion while he was in office. In Florida, we’ve improved in those areas. Just take an honest hard look between the two.
Did you read this carefully? In other words, DeSantis believes the political bias and weaponizaton should be allowed to continue until DeSantis is president. In other words, if it works, it's not such a bad thing. For him.
I only posted a response to the first items on your list, to demonstrate Trump didn’t do so great after all. And, I clearly said he did pretty good his first two years when he had a Republican Congress, because WE did do pretty good then. I was a huge supporter of his at the time, as my posting history shows. But he went off the rails in 2020, and hasn’t gotten any better. I also don’t think he can win the 2024 election, because he’s despised by so many Americans, rightfully or wrongfully.
It’s time for someone else to try to build a wall, since Trump couldn’t do it. And admit those horrible DNA modifying shots were a mistake, and clamp down in the homo agenda, both of which Trump supports. DeSantis says he will do those things, and has a great record in Florida.
With Trump, I feel like I’m having to push him around in a wheelchair, while he constantly gripes about how uncomfortable he is, and barks insults at everyone we pass. It’s old, and it’s tired, and I don’t think he’s capable of running in the race any more.

Reagan there WAS major positivity. No one could hate him. He was impossible to hate. Smiled, joked, did not spout childish insults even at enemies much less allies. Talked about how great America IS. As opposed to Trump with the perpetual Mussolini frown, perpetual grump, perpetual slouch, insults right and left. Trump is an easy target for hatred, because he does not exude love and positivity. Never mind his moral character vs. Reagan based on long history.

Sorry, Trump is his own worst enemy. His arrogance and caustic attitude reduced his effectiveness and minimized his accomplishments. It has emboldened his enemies and weakened support from any potential advocates.
Look at the pain his personal "fixer", Michael Cohen, has inflicted. How many of these types were in Trump's sphere of influence all those years?
How did his leadership selections turn out? Wray, Rosenstein, Barr, Sessions, Milley and a ton of others. Dubious, to say the least.
I love it when the OnlyTrumpers talk about Trump's magnificence, and then state, "Trump didn't really know anyone in DC and was beholden to the Rino's for these selections." Well, you can't have it both ways.

People “who don’t care about these thing” focusing on personality doesn’t mean other groups of people can’t also focus on personality. For example, people who care about those things somewhat but not as much as they care about personality can also focus on personality.

Now you’re just throwing out strawman arguments. Trump IS loyal to the USA. That’s why we support him. Loyalty to the USA is implicit in “those things” which I mentioned (i.e. ant-globalist, anti-deep-state, pro-American).
