I was in the infield the weekend they shot the Daytona footage.....I knew even then it was gonna be a stinker.
I remember people like Bennie Parsons and Ned Jarrett panned it as completely unrealistic.
Even Robert Duvall couldn’t save that turd.

“On Any Sunday” is a fun watch. Steve McQueen... he sure knew how to have fun.
