Authenticity is key. Once you can fake that you’ve got it made.
I have to admit, for a second I thought it was the Babylon Bee!
Not the Bee...:)
A Castro shirt in Oklahoma?
Jeb 2.0
Man, that was bad and embarrassing. That music and those people looked like WTF? Probably never heard of him. LOL
DeSadness is Jeb without the guac bowls. 😏
I like Ron but this is not a smart move.
so what if DeSantis is “stiff” and unlovable in public events? We should vote for a politician based on policy and track record, not their “movie star” quality. Voting for politician based on “likability” is immature and foolish. But then again, so is the American voter.
It’s ok to be scared of DeSantis.
But comparing him to Jeb just makes you look foolish.
If DeSantis gets the nomination, great. If he doesn’t, great. We Floridians could do much, much worse.
“ so what if DeSantis is “stiff” and unlovable in public events? We should vote for a politician based on policy and track record, not their “movie star” quality.”
Unfortunately that’s where we are at.
Superficial overrules competence .
The DeSantis “track record” in Congress wasn’t all that spectacular. Yeah, he was in freedom caucus. Yawn
Only RDSers are smart and brilliant. Sounds like GOPe to me. They know a dud with connections when they see one.
I like DeSantis, but this move is killing his future chances. He is getting bad advice. You think he looked good or stiff?

This is a hit job. He is not nearly as bad as characterized. If one wants a personality contest instead of winning policy, vote for Katy Perry.
They worked to identify the best candidate for 2016 based on extensive polling and focus groups that were done over a period of many months. What made this process so interesting was that they didn't do polls and focus groups based on actual candidates. They simple had the participants read items and ideas from speeches and public statements that were given by these various political figures.
Based on the polling and focus groups, they found that Jeb Bush was far and away the best candidate against any and all hypothetical opponents in any election: Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, Bernie Sanders, and even Barack Obama.
The problem was that once Jeb Bush emerged from the text on paper and became an actual person on the campaign trail, the guy turned into the biggest loser in the 2016 campaign field. People loved what they read from Jeb Bush, but to most voters he had as much appeal as a grapefruit.
He’s not the best campaigner, and it’s good he’s getting experience.
I wish we could elect Trump, but just don’t see it happening.
Worse thing about him in congress....he supported the Tans Pacific Partnership....booooo
I’ll admit, he seems really awful at this.
