Agreed that Jeb was a complete joke, whether he looked good on paper or not. But he’s not even in the same league as DeSantis with regard to an actual conservative record of achievements.
People make a big deal about DeSantis networking with the DC crowd, but not everyone is a billionaire, and until Trump came along networking was the norm.
Are we never again going to elect senators or governors for POTUS? Are we now limiting ourselves to billionaire outsiders exclusively?
