If it were up to me, I would push a legislative bill that mainstream newspapers would not be permitted to refer to themselves as “news” papers and truth in advertising laws require them to refer to themselves as “narrative” papers

The news “business” has always had a bias. the difference between today and 100 years ago there were opposing news sources. Every town of any size had at least two newspapers often with names like DAILY REPUBLICAN or DAILY DEMOCRAT. You knew the bias.
The biggest lie the media tells is that they are unbiased.
Because we want real news not propaganda.
It’s not news. It’s fabrication, gossip, rumor and innuendo.
