The first busloads of migrants arrived in Los Angeles from Texas Wednesday in what Mayor Karen Bass called a “despicable stunt” by Lone Star State Gov. Greg Abbott.
About 40 migrants that appeared to be families from Latin America and Haiti were seen getting off two buses as they headed to St. Anthony’s Croatian Church, Fox 11 reported.
Abbott, in a statement, insisted Texas officials were sending migrants where they want to go, noting Los Angeles is a “self-declared sanctuary city.”
It’s the latest major metro area in the US to take in migrants from Texas, with New York, Chicago and Washington, DC, also accepting tens of thousands of people over the past year.
“Texas’ small border towns remain overwhelmed and overrun by the thousands of people illegally crossing into Texas from Mexico because of President Biden’s refusal to secure the border,” the Republican stated.

They should.
Surely they have a spare room or two in their mansions and acn afford the extra food costs.
They should lead by example since they are such champions of the illegals.
But no doubt they are just as hypocritical as their compatriots in Martha’s Vineyard.
The definition of a despicable stunt is when the Lefties' rhetoric is tested by reality.
One observes that the Biden regime has been sending border crossing illegals all around the country. In which locales is it a 'despicable stunt'? In the cities run by Democrats and such havens for the upper crust as Martha's Vineyard, where they send them packing to the 'caring' destination known as "elsewhere."
Abbot is being an idiot. The people of “sanctuary states” and cities never voted on that status, you had corrupt cheating politicians who unilaterally declared it without any public input.
I like the idea of heads exploding (not literally) over forcing the politicians to live by the very things they virtue signal on; but yeah, there are people who didn’t vote for this, and bussing people deeper into the country is probably going to bite us in the ass in the long run.
Then let the public topple them. By voting. By recall campaigns. If the public does not, where are "we" as a "public?"
Kinda hard to do that when the votes are fortified
Just in time for the US Open, since the US is wide open.
Then it is better for the lying cheating politicians to suffer than the people in other places. This is not a stunt. It is applying Alinski’s rule for Radicals against the left.
Bus load needs to be released there on Rodeo Drive
And so, what do you then propose? I am interested in reading your response.
“when the Lefties’ rhetoric is tested by reality”
ABSOLUTELY
And a perfect example of that was last years Congressional Baseball Game.
Caught the replay this morning.
Shows what happens when there’s a level playing field....... Republicans 10 - dems-zip.
Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, Montecito, and other uber rich enclaves.
He knows that, the dude is a troll.
The disconnect is strong in this one. The voters vote for the pimps who run the show. They voted for the pimps who declared LA a sanctuary city.
Sorry, but you lie down with dogs. You wake up with fleas.
People voted for politicians who made it clear where they stand on illegal invasion.
If they don’t like it, they can vote the crooks out, but they don’t.
They can live with the consequences of their decisions.
Abbot is not being an idiot. Why should the people of Texas who didn’t vote democrat have to endure what you claim is unfair to the liberals who did? Let those who voted for stuff like this bear the brunt of it.
But they’re going into sanctuary. You know, like Charles Laughton as Quasimodo called out from Notre Dame Cathedral. Isn’t that what the folks who run LA want?
Sometimes trolls need to be replied to.
