When you ask what’s going on here - and compare the Treatment of Hillary, Huma, Bill, Comey, Nine Biden’s, Strzok, Page, & Sandy Berger - the Dems talking points are WHATABOUTISM.

I think the formal term for "whataboutism" is precedent.

Considering that the US uses the common law system, precedent is kind of a big deal. It helps ensure that individuals are treated equally for the same set of circumstances regardless of what is thought about the particular individual.
