At least two explosions rocked Kyiv on Friday and air raid sirens blared as African leaders began a peace mission, hoping to mediate between Ukraine and Russia.
The African delegation, which includes leaders from South Africa, Senegal, the Comoros and Egypt, was expected to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and then hold talks Russian President Vladimir Putin in St Petersburg on Saturday.
A Reuters witness in central Kyiv said he heard two explosions.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko also reported explosions in the central Podil district, and warned that more missiles were headed towards the capital.
Another Reuters correspondent in the capital saw the smoke trail of two missiles in the air.

When I see the source I can figure out the purpose of the headline, who was behind these explosions, and why. lol
The leaders from South Africa, Senegal, the Comoros and Egypt are in Ukraine for “peace talks” or maybe piece talks.
I wonder if Zelensky will be able to talk them into giving him a few million or a few hundred dollars in aid.
Boy Howdy! That would be another first. Aid from African nations to a European country. It has been flowing the other way for longer than most history books go back.
If I were Zelensky and I knew those guys were coming for peace talks which he says he doesn’t want, I would have my peeps shoot off a couple bombs(explosions)in Kiev to convince these guys that Russia doesn’t want peace because “just look what they did”.

Same as if Joe POTATUS Biden came to visit and we want to justify his theft of more US taxpayer money. I would walk him to his (stand here doofus} mark in the street and have my peeps turn on the air raid sireen for the corrupt media back in what used to be the US to report to the dummkopf citizens as to why Zelensky needs our money.
Surprised we haven’t sent over Jesse Jackson to mediate.
